Broken!

It was gloriously sunny so I sat out for most of the day. I then had a phone call from the doctor….they have received my x-ray results and I have a large fracture in my spine. No wonder I’m in so much pain. With hindsight I should have sought advice a long time ago, I’ve done the Great North Swim, I’ve been working and goodness knows what else with a fracture. The spinal team should phone me tomorrow.

I decided to go along to the craft group tonight. I thought I might as well sit there as at home. I’ve been stuck on my own all week and I needed to talk to people. Louise and Jess were going and so they picked me up. I took my cushion and had a good natter. I didn’t do much crochet work but it was nice to get out. Louise was having fun trying to get her head round her crochet work lol. I did make Jude a little video though. She’s been stuck in hospital since Saturday and had asked for pics of people’s everyday as she said she could feel institutionalisation creeping on. Her friend Sarah had sent one from the day before when she bumped into James Nesbitt in town. I couldn’t compete with that so I learnt a card trick off t’internet and sent that instead. I’ll look for something else to learn tomorrow….
