Rosebay bokeh

After yesterday’s full-on activities, today is quieter - for me at least! 

G is up early for the first phase of his implant procedure. It all goes well, though I have to say I’d rather him than me! I get far more anxious about dental work than my surgeries - basically because I’m happier when I’m unaware of what’s happening! 
The worse thing, he says, is the injection into the palate, after which everything is painless. It’s all very time consuming (the implant base will now be left for 3-4 months before the actual tooth can be fitted) and eye-wateringly expensive - and we both wonder just how these promises on one-day implants or whole mouth implants while you holiday in Turkey can actually succeed. 

He’s now on antibiotics for a week, his first course for many years whereas I can’t remember how many courses I’ve taken - not from choice of course!
