A trip to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition yesterday. M. lured by the promise of lunch, but we both really enjoyed the art experience too.1728 art works, priced from almost nothing to £85,000 and probably beyond. Such a range and variety and so interesting to see established artists with their work right next to the complete amateurs. Photography positively encouraged. Allchurch was too expensive for me at £8,250 but I was charmed by the detail and updating of a picture I love in the original form. Took tons of photos, felt very inspired and encouraged.
