The weather forecast was for a dry morning and rainy afternoon. I had a plan . . . take microwave packaging to tip, drive to Bowness for a wander and blip, collect church magazines on the way home then deliver them.

Tip was temporarily shut for skip changeover. Headed towards Bowness and at Low Wood Hotel realised I’d left my phone* at home. I drove back to Ambleside and had a wander around the park giving the tip time to reopen. Mr Blackbird was collecting worms. He obviously has a family to feed. Got rid of the packaging and remembered to collect the magazines which were all delivered long before the rain started.

Another frustration this afternoon with online banking. It’s always been very quick but was worryingly slow this time.

* I’m sure I would have been fine without it! Had my big camera for photos.
