Blowin' In The Wind

We've spent a very pleasant couple of hours this afternoon with neighbours, drinking Pimm's and eating cake, and catching up. We had a look at their photos from a three week tour of China. Lots of super images, especially the landscapes and people shots. Not something we are aching to do though, especially when they said the return journey took 32 hours. We are having a Chinese meal tonight in their honour though, courtesy of Waitrose.

It's always interesting to see what people have in their gardens. Planes, lighthouses and ships for instance. You might spot a duck and an angel in the extra. The propellors on the plane were spinning wildly but I didn't have time to mess around with phone camera settings to show the movement.

We enjoyed the Bob Dylan film last night, though for me it wasn't as spellbinding as the first time. I knew what was coming so the plot holes and fabrications seemed more obvious and I thought some scenes could have been cut. Our friends enjoyed it more I think as they hadn't seen it before. One said he had been a bigger fan of Joan Baez and had four of her albums. He only had one Dylan one. I didn't get a chance to ask which one - I was wondering if it might be The Best Of Bob Dylan. BikerBabe might get that Alan Partridge-esque thought :-)
