On the beach
I've had a tub of old cooking oil sitting on the kitchen bench for several weeks waiting for me to take it to the recycling centre. You have to book a slot nowadays and it's not worth it just for a tub of cooking oil so I waited until I had some other things to recycle. Over the last few days I've had some deliveries that had produced quite a lot of cardboard packaging, and I also had an old metal CD rack, a rusty flan tin and a warped metal heat diffuser to take, so I booked a slot.
I headed off to the recycling centre for my allotted time and dropped off all my stuff. I'd planned to head down to Weybourne afterwards for a little walk along the beach. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and I got this shot of one of the fishermen's tractors. Despite appearances, the beach was fairly busy; it drops steeply down to the sea and there were quite a few bathers out of sight by the shore.
Satisfied that I had my blip shot, I headed home. As I entered the kitchen, I spotted my tub of old cooking oil sitting on the kitchen bench.
