Runner beans growing well

Went for a swim and then later to the allotment. 
The runner beans are growing quite well and have reached the top of the tripod. The seeds I saved from last year… the variety is “Wisley Magic” which I have been growing for many years. The self seeded hollyhocks behind are also doing well. 

Then I met some cycling friends at the Lion Gate cafe …near Hampton Court Lion Gate. Despite the Flower Show being on there were not many people about in the cafe or the park…all in the flower show …lots of traffic queues earlier but OK if you are on a bike!

Later a trip to eye unit at Kingston Hospital for routine check up..the drops I put in have improved things so that’s good..the message is carry on.

Popped into John Lewis and M and S on the way back…returned an expensive dress which didn’t really fit very well though I liked the vibrant linen fabric. Food from M and S ready for tomorrow. 
Hot again so need to do lots of watering plus watch tennis.
