Dead tree

Another warm day.  After quickly watering the tomato plants we decided to go for a walk along the River Otter to Otterton and back.  It ws a little cloudy as we started but the sun soon came out.  An enjoyable walk to Otterton Mill where we stopped for a coffee.  We were surprised to hear that they suffered from a fire on the 20th June and as a consequence are managing to serve coffees and lunches outside the building while repairs take place.  Such a shame for them.  We continued the walk back home via the other side of the river which was cooler as it is  sheltered under the trees.

An afternoon of starting to download images from the holiday to the computer.  It will keep me busy for some time.  Off to make some bread in the bread maker now.  I made one yesterday and forgot to put the yeast in.  My husband made one this morning and forgot to put the paddle in the container.  Lets hope all goes well this evening.
