When you're smiling...
Alan two days in a row! :-)
He's been very cheery today, full of smiles and nonsense. I think he's feeling better already. I asked him to show me he his newly cleaned teeth and I got this smile. I am recording the pearly whites here for posterity!
He was very keen to see the photo and grinned back at himself. I told him me he's now extra handsome and in order to keep his teeth so white he must let all members of his support team clean his teeth and not just Jordan. Told him if he didn't I would go through with the floor scrubbing brush and clean them myself. He thought that was hilarious!
Shortly after this he and Jordan headed off to Loch Lomond for the afternoon, so he's definitely feeling better.
I wish I could report the same about my shoulder but it is still sore. I think there's been a tiny bit of improvement but I've had paracetamol, ibuprofen and co-codamol today without much effect. As a result I've achieved the sum total of diddly-squat.
I do have an issue with my shoulder and collar bone (inflamed sternoclavicular joint) which was diagnosed in 2023, which can flare up when I use my elbow crutches. I suspect this pain is the result of weight bearing using my arms more than usual last week when my hip flared up causing hip and leg pain. It will just take its own time to ease. In the meantime I will continue balancing rest and movement with painkillers and ibuprofen gel.
Thank you for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts and I promise I will catch up soon. Typing is just too painful at the moment and this is about all I can do.
Happy 4th July to my American Blip Pals, and gave a great weekend everyone x
