Love levellers (sweet sour gooseberries)

Finished shortening the vertical blinds. Feeling proud of myself. Took 5 hours or so. The worst was unpicking the original tight invisible stitching.

Walked into town via the Pier. Hot in the sun, bearable where there was a breeze. Took the bus to Boscombe. Did Lidl and Aldi, then the Polish for bread. Delighted to find levellers (blipped) - probably with greengages my no. 1 fruit. Such a short season, so often miss them.

Home to tennis and the big match, Radacanu v Sabalenka. Sadly not to be.

Tomorrow's Pier to Pier fundraising walk has been cancelled as high winds forecast.
