F1
Well I’m supposed to be in Berlin for a cheeky spa weekend in the sun but thanks to French air traffic control it was cancelled through the night
Boo hiss boo
So a rainy weekend at home. Actually secretly pleased as I feel I’m rarely at home to enjoy it. Spent a few hours catching up on tedium like cleaning the fridge but then outdoors needed to be faced.
Still a few vouchers left over from Christmas and birthdays so chose to use CATA a very authentic Spanish tapas bar in Stockbridge. Wow the food was good and Bruno the waiter hilarious and a feeder. Doubled the value of the voucher :))
Hoofed it up t’hill to Vue to see F1 with Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem so knew it would be easy on the eye if not a great movie.
How wrong was I. The film is fantastic, incredible cinematography which I still can’t work out how they did, suffice to say you were in the cockpit throughout adrenaline racing, glued to the screen. I loved it and immediately wanted to see if again with my racing driver brother and nephew. My dad, I reckon, would find the Hans Zimmer soundtrack a bit offputting .
Great spotting Toto, Christian and Gunther and all the drivers.
Go see!
Home late but did a wee check to see if the slugs have taken over yet
Measley 13 manageable
2 frogs. Less so
