'Kniertje' Scheveningen statue

'Kniertje'  is a Dutch girl's name with a unique meaning. This name is derived from the word "kniert", which is often used in Dutch dialects for a small, cute girl. Kniertje is a diminutive form of the name Katharina. 
This statue is a favorite of mine here in the neighbourhood.
