Happy Fu$&ing 4th of July

I’m feeling kind of low today. I’m listening to fireworks in the distance and every echo makes my heart ache. I don’t hate my country but I feel so sad about the state of the union.

Maybe the silver lining will be the downfall of our democracy and the opportunity to build back something better.

I am focusing in on my blessed life and feeling grateful for family and the love I feel every day.
