Morning Playtime

She stands out of reach and scratches the carpet, slowly and deliberately because she knows it annoys me and will drive me to action. These animals learn fast how to get what they want and we are powerless to resist. All punishment is reward in their little world. Even a scolding is excitement and fun. Our duty is to perform and they relish their part. Their eyes light up as you get up to push them over or spin them round or they throw their tail up high with an excited chirrup and dash ahead of you, keeping just out of reach.
