Independence Day?

We certainly enjoyed our lunch on the placemats which are the subject of today’s entry.

However, it was a normal lunch. We did not invite friends. Pat did exchange messages with family members.

I do wonder if the Orange Felon has actually read the Constitution of the United States of America. If he does he certainly ignores it.

‘We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

This is the preamble which then goes on to record the various Articles and Sections of the Constitution.
