King Protea

Spotted these fabulous King Protea at the florist as we walked down to get some bread at the bakery. Couldn’t resist a photo and luckily as I didn’t take any others over the day.   
G is a little better today and managed to hobble around a tiny little bit testing the water with his foot. He’s hoping for a quick recovery, I’m not sure how that will go!! : ) He’s in better spirits today so that’s a good thing. 
Julian and I had planned to go to the movies early but that went by the wayside after attending to the patient and cups of tea etc.   
So we ended up in the city for lunch and checking out the Apple Store…again…. and then back to G to drop off some medications and groceries. More cups of tea and then we moved onto Julian’s for tea. Whew!!   
I’m just home now at 8.30pm and wilting fast.  Tomorrow will be easier I think/hope!!   There will be time to catchup with blip and other things calling out for attention!! : )
