City Re-emerging

For the last 2 and half years my apartment has been completely enclosed in scaffolding due to building safety work going on far longer than anticipated. It has been a super sad ending to a very happy decade in this home I love living in.
My heart skipped a beat on my return from work when I saw that the top layers of scaffolding had come down, my window cleaned and finally clear in glorious light, and that city view I know and love back on the horizon. Still a long way to go but it’s nice to see the place and my balcony slowly returning to its former glory.
