On the road in Iceland

This picture combines most of what - in my opinion - characterizes an Icelandic summer road trip. 
*Cloudy skies, almost raining, but not yet. 
*Haybales wrapped in plastic in the fields
*Big cars driving too fast with a massive caravan in tow.
*Food advertised in English, not Icelandic (usually hamburgers and/or pizza)
*Splattered insects on the windscreen of our car. 

On our way from Akureyri to Reykjavík, with bellies full of hot dog and orange soda after stopping in a (rather dirty) service station in Blönduós.
