An unoriginal shot, because I posted a similar one a couple of weeks ago, but it’s been a busy day and I didn’t have a lot of time to take photographs.

Our visitors from Turkey flew in to Gatwick at 12.30 am last night (having had their earlier booked flight cancelled and been moved to this later one) so they didn’t arrive at our house until 2.45 am (which was 4.45 am according to their body clocks). Needless to say, Smithers and I were unaware of their arrival, although The Traveller and his girlfriend had of course stayed up to see them in. There were some bleary eyes this morning!

The youngsters have gone to a music festival in Bedfordshire today, and will be out and about a lot before they go home on Tuesday. We’re not sure how many meals our visitors will be here for, so I’ve been cooking today to ensure there will be plenty to offer them if they do happen to be here at mealtimes.
