Life in Sunny Dubai

It's been another non-stop, busy day, starting with a visit to the salon for a massage and hair treatment. That done, I came back home for lunch.

There is a long mental list of things to do, with things suddenly being added to it, like organising an international driver's licence. Ugh! I looked up the UAE Automobile Touring Club, and Google said they were open until 5 PM. I phoned, but no one answered. By this stage, we were dressed to race out, so instead, we ran some errands.

The first one was to get new wheels on G's suitcase. I didn't think you could repair broken wheels, but it turns out you can. Right here in Karama, even! They did it while I waited, so we went on to Wafi, where I got my blip.

The Swatch watch that G got a new battery for on Tuesday is still not working properly, so we went to the store in Dubai Mall to hand it in to monitor it for 24 hours before they replace it.

It was good to get home and finally relax. Well, relax and get on with other things. :)))
