Ryegirse
A calm morning, but drizzle showers and mist over the hills. Breezy as the day went on, drying up and even some sunshine this evening.
Weekend off, and a much needed rest this morning. Finished off the chores, then out for walkies with Sammy. Mam, sis Julie, Megan and Eve came over in the late morning. We headed to Burra, for niece Elise's dad's funeral, a very sad day for her, she did fantastic reading a poem she had written in honour. Popped down to mam's before tea. Working in the shop this evening, the usual busy standard. Might try a few pints tonight.
Although it's not been an overly sunny summer so far, a few days here at there, it's not been cold and plenty of rain, meaning plenty of growth in the garden and the fields. This ryegrass outside mam's is looking lush and healthy, ready for mowing as soon as. Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
