The wood that I brought back from the farmers field near the River Wye( very legitimate) is now in place next to my existing stumpery .

A quiet walk today around Winterborne Gardens.
We can get there by train but Vic now finds the walk from the station, through the University Campus, around the gardens and back to the station quite challenging and I spend the time worrying, so we drive there.
The gardens certainly looked very parched.
It was very quiet for a Saturday, but with three major events going on in Birmingham , maybe people were concerned about the traffic.
