Orion

We made the long drive to the Cincinnati area to visit Stricker's Grove, which is only open to the public four days a year. July 4 is one of those days. It's got two wooden roller coasters (See one in extras).

After riding a few times and eating, we went to Kings Island, the major amusement park in the area. We only rode the new family coaster and the kiddie coaster, which is finally letting adults ride without a kid. We also rode Beast, which had a major retracking and now has parts that run as smooth as glass. It's incredible.

Pictured is Orion, the park's biggest coaster. We did not ride because it was getting late.
