Brighter

It was a sometimes wet, and often gusty, market at West Linton this morning. It was also very quiet. 

It was also very vexing - some of you may recall me mentioning how another local soapmaker had stopped me from being allowed to sell my soaps at The Balerno market a couple of months ago. 

I was aware that she had also tried to get me stopped at West Linton back before Christmas but had been unsuccessful. This morning I discovered that she's been consistently haranguing the market organiser every month about me, and stressing her right out. Not only that, she also contacted the local shop, where I've been selling for several years to try and get my soaps pulled from sale there too. 

What appalling behaviour. Thankfully, there's mass indignation about her ridiculous demands amongst the people that matter here and they've assured me they will be sitting down with her and sorting it. Sadly it made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere this morning :(

I was very glad to get home away out of it all this afternoon. Hopefully, tomorrow at Whitmuir will be better for business but holiday times are always tricky so I wont hold my breath.
