Madonna Lily

A new addition which surprised and delighted me when I was weeding the yew hedge border. Spent pretty much the whole day weeding, tidying and cutting back. The border is completely transformed by the 5 Paeonias which have not finished flowering and provide substantial foliage to offset the remaining plants. The Madonna lily is a new star along with 5 Thalictrum Hewitt’s Double, Phlox, Echinacea, Echinops, Geranium psilostemnon, Geranium’Max Frei’ , Nepeta‘Seven Hills Giant’ and Dierama floating in the background. Hope to finish the border tomorrow.
