In December 23 following a telephone review Daniel’s PIP was stopped. The reviewer said his degenerative condition was better, which was a surprise given that it is degenerative. He appealed the decision and they still said NO. He took it to the next level which meant wait for a tribunal hearing. 18 months wait. On Tuesday this week the tribunal took place over an online call with a judge, a doctor and a disability professional. 
Today he got the letter that told him that not only had they found in his favour, but that it should never have been stopped so he will get the allowance backdated to Dec 23 and an additional year added until the next review. 

Isn’t it criminal that disabilities have to be proven to be validated.
