Bubbles

At Coco Mad, an annual festival held in Cotteridge Park, over the railway line from Ruth's, a ten minute walk via the bridge at Bournville station.

A perfect day for it, warm in the sun, which made an appearance right on time, cooler in the breeze.   We wandered round mid afternoon and spent a couple of hours looking at the stalls and listening to the music.  Several stages as it's a big park.  Lots of variety from opera to soul and rock.   We took a chair for me, strapped to the back of Ruth's power chair, my lower right leg still swollen and painful at times.  It came in very handy, not least in the twenty minute queue for an ice cream.  The bubble man was very popular with the little kids, perhaps less so when big bubbles burst on the heads on unsuspecting victims :-)

I had an uneventful drive home this evening and will be taking my leg to see the Dr on Monday having had a chat with a pharmacist this morning.
