Wet morning at 7:45 am.

I was woken to the sound of rain pounding on the loft room roof.
I got out of bed to look outside and the water was running down the gutters in the road like racing streams.
It felt like such a novelty after weeks of dryness with very little of the stuff.
It is set to continue till early afternoon, tailing off along the way. The oracle says “Thundery showers and a moderate breeze”.
Feels like a novelty right now! But that feeling won’t last I’m sure.
Glad I spent time in the garden yesterday tidying up a bit more.
We’re off to our Birmingham Vineyard Church after breakfast so I’d better go and have some right now.
I took the photo up in the loft room as I went up there to watch the thundery dark sky pour out its contents!
