Common Ragwort also known as Tansy
Love it or loathe it. Most people dislike the yellow Ragwort that seems to cover the countryside in summer, it is poisonous to horses and cattle although the reality seems to be that these creatures avoid it because it has a nasty smell and a bitter taste. It is loved by insects, moths and butterflies (and me), l was out looking for it to find some small critters to photograph but only found this one small buzzy creature on a day that threatened to rain but never did.
