Dahlia days

We seem to be missing out - again! - on the stormy, wet weather that many others are getting today.  Was watching a stream on Youtube of Heathrow earlier this afternoon and the heavens opened - our skies did darken soon after but the blue skies have now returned and I'm still waiting for rain for my garden!

Didn't sleep well last night, so had planned to take things easy but the 1 job I started doing in the garden, led to 4 or 5 more!  Oops!! Did see a nice slowworm in the garden though so that's a good sign, and so many butterflies around again!  And another Dahlia decided to bloom although I've lost the label for this one!
