Shadows and Light, Blindness and Sight

Thunderstorms and rain after sunrise. Cereal, coffee and a trip to Mrs. Jones The Baker for a couple of cakes (one GF and one not). Brunch with Genevieve. Top up the tyre sealant on my gravel eBike, used for commuting. Trip to 99Bikes to buy new valves (they didn't have the ones I wanted). Got a new water bottle, a new mirror for my road bike ("sacrilege" I hear you say) and a new comfy seat for J's now stationary bicycle (used for rehab since she had her double knee replacement). Pain in the neck trying to find a park in Brookvale due to a game of League being played. Back home, take the dog for the long walk, pump up tyres using old valves. More thunderstorms and heavier rain after sunset. Dinner and a couple of episodes of "Patience".

The sun was out for most of the day despite the bookend storms, and the moon is out now. The sun seemed to be enjoying the sharp edges of the neighbours' new hybrid boxy people mover thing.
