Partnership Day

Today was all about church partnership. Over 350 of us, from 7 different churches in one geographical area, gathered in one place. We sang, we were taught, we were updated, we were encouraged and we sang some more.

And in between, we drank coffee, met old friends and made new ones, ate lunch, wandered around and watched on.

Well organised EmCoops. I was on ‘Welcome’. It gave me lots of opportunities to see everyone as they arrived, albeit it quickly as we moved the queues on.

Somehow, again, missed chatting to the 2 blip heroes. Sorry jophreeves and pickwick84. :-(

After it all, our dearest friends who left the country this time last year, who had flown in last night, came round for the rest of the day. So delighted to talk, to eat, to walk around and show them our church.

In the photo, the 4 of us who are old friends, are now all at different churches in the partnership. We all started off at the same one. Now we’ve all moved to different ones; 3 of us moving house too.
