Rain

Thank you for your empathy yesterday regarding delay with the exchange contracts and moving date.  Fingers crossed this week we'll have certainty.

Took the hound for a 7am walk as rain was forecast for midmorning.

Started packing books from the attic and cookery books from the pantry.  Clearing three shelves took from the attic took several trips up two flights of stairs.  Still it's progress.

July is Open Studios time in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire.  We went this afternoon to see the work of artist/printer Elizabeth Fraser which was inspiring.  She was enthusiastic and had some wonderful artwork.

It started raining late morning.  The garden needed a good drink.
