Facing....

Out to sea....

We headed out with the boat and the fishing rods, again .... trying to catch dinner - more on that later....it was extremely windy and quite rough out on the bay...and i got pretty wet cos i was up front as we hit the waves....it was an experience alright!

We spent sometime casting our lines with very optimistic attitudes...then headed for the beach on the other side of the channel. got ourselves ashore, and settled down on the beach with the wine, cheese and crackers... this man really knows how to do a fishing trip i tell you!

When the wine was finished off we went to explore the beach....after sometime we came upon this amazing piece of art created by nature.... pretty awesome really. this is gypsum - plentiful around this area apparently! I couldn't resist the image of this old face - complete with nose hair and all!!!

so, after heading back....without even one fish....we made a very delicious indian curry... which is now ready and so i'm off to have a good supper!
A good way to end a very fine day!
