Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Archie and I took a walk around by the new development - the old hospital - and it looks great. It also covers a couple of streets of lovely individual houses, and there's a student complex and affordable housing. BUT... some of the poshest flats are right next to a primary school. if they'd come to view the flats during a kids' break time, they'd think twice about it! What an absolute RACKET they make - yelling and screaming constantly until the bell rings. I'm sure that was never acceptable in my day.

I then watched the Sonay Kartal game (while on the bike) which she lost, but what a great run she had, into the fourth round (and £240,000 prize money). She's great - never bothers with all that constant fist bumping and yelling at her coaching team, as everyone else does (except Sinner). She just gives a wee smile at a particulary pleasing shot. The Norrie/Jarry game went to five sets, but Norrie won. I did have a wee snooze part way through.

JR busied herself with important tasks - possibly continuing to sort out her cruise wardrobe - and then took Archie out again in the afternoon.
