Expanding my palette

I've been enjoying exploring sketching with water soluble pens but the ones which I "inherited" from A have a limited palette. I did but some (cheapish) ones from the Range but whilst they are OK for colouring they don't blend that well. This then presented me with a perfect excuse to splash out on some posh one from Faber-Castell and very nice they are too. 

I am currently experimenting with drawing the picture I took last Monday and added to the series with one using the new pencils and could see a difference.  The next step will then be to needle felt in.  I think this will be easier having explored the shape and colours through sketching.
