Open Garden

Today Jane & I went to the Open Garden of Longleys Farmhouse in Hailsham; Jane drove.
Weather wasn't great according to the Forecast, but it turned out fine, not as warm as yesterday & I knew where we were going. LOL!
The road up to the Farmhouse was very rickaty, needs attending to I would say especially if I lived there I'd get it fixed.
First stop was the Artist's Studio which was up a flight of wooden steps, we made it & was worth it; wouldn't it be lovely to have this sort of space to do any type of craft.
We looked around in the garden's & we hugged a lovely big Oak Tree; think I should've checked for insects before hugging the Tree, both Jane & I had nasty big Black Ants crawling on us. YUK!
We had a refreshing cup of tea & a slice of cake sitting by the Pond watching the Sparrows land on the Lily Pads & have a drink; so peaceful.
As we took the cups & plates back it started to rain, so we stayed inside until is died down then we looked in an Art Gallery before heading off to Hilliers where I bought some Seeds of a Tall Scabious; then we popped into Langney Shopping Centre where I bought some books for my Grandchildren.
It was then time to go home & make dinner. :)
