Ramon”s Bar

MrRoly, Eldest and I wandered into the Port this morning to get breakfast and other bits. It was overcast and pleasant but the cloud was starting to break and by the time we got back, the temperature was rising again!

Early afternoon we set off to visit Port D’Alcudia. MrRoly’s mum had her first Majorcan apartment here and we were trying to work out when each of us first visited Ramon’s Bar for tapas. Mine was probably 1997 and MrRoly 1996 or possibly earlier. It’s a tradition and the food did not disappoint today.

We finished just in time to watch the start of the GP at a nearby Irish Bar - very exciting start - then headed back to Port De Pollenca while the safety car was out! MrRoly and The Boy nipped back into town to try and find somewhere to watch the end while Eldest, Smallest and I siesta’ed!

A dip in the pool this evening to cool down and the start of eating up what food we have left :-(
