Ynys Llanddwyn

Lover’s Island is a tiny island which becomes cut off by the tide. It’s a short walk from the end of Newborough Beach on Anglesey. We both had tired legs from the descent of Snowden so a walk did us good. The most exciting thing was seeing five seals resting out of the wind on some seaweed covered rocks. Later on we drove to Beaumaris and had another amble round the shops. Italian for tea. Gnocchi with pesto. Home tomorrow which is sad.
