Burdock - the colour of Jam

This evening we had a walk in the park with Bramble and binoculars. By one of the bridges I spotted this Burdock, and it looks the colour of some of the jam I made today.

Several hours were spent making 19 jars of Black Currant (which isn't the colour match), and 16 smaller jars of Red Currant and Gooseberry (which is). I ran out of bigger jars so resorted to half-size ones.

I was pleased by my efforts and it cleared some space in the freezer.
