Yewbarrow House, Grange-over-Sands
As the afternoon brightened up somewhat we decided to go to an Open Garden, Yewbarrow House.
This is a garden we have visited before many years ago, and it was great to see what had changed.
It’s an example of what you can do with a garden if money is not a consideration!
There was a new garden building with a Japanese bridge leading to a roof terrace, paved and with a mosaic of a peacock extending right across.
The tower has an engraved stone map showing the view across the Bay.l
The Infinity pool is the same, and very beautiful. We had tea in the garden, with cake of courgette and avocado….quite an experience!
