Ladybird on Hogweed

A day of rain showers forecast turn in to longer spells of drizzle. None on the morning walk, but it was quite breezy. No views. I did manage, in a brief spell of no wind, to capture this photo of a ladybird on a hogweed plant.

After work, a trip in to town as partner needs new shoes. Plus the café we normally visit is closed for refurbishment. Not very nice weather, so we get the bus. First thing was Friday afternoon coffee and cake. Then to a shoe shop, which fortunately has a sale. A selection is made after trying on several pairs of shoes (even though they say the required size, they aren't, and that includes a couple of 'premium' brands) Then bus home.
