Juvenile Woodpecker

If you think I've spent the day gazing out of the window, you might be right. I don't feel I've got much done.

I did spend 2 hours down at church chatting, preparing for Sunday School and running Sunday School. Last Sunday we had a special service when we gave a book I'd created to a couple who were leaving. They didn't take off the wrapping paper last week but they brought it back this week. No, not to return it and demand a refund! They came straight over to me to tell me it was a gift "Out of this world!" They were thrilled and told the congregation during "Notices" how pleased they were. That made my day.

This afternoon I plugged in my external hard drives and tried to clear a bit of space on my laptop. A job that needed done.

So, I'm left with shots of birds to chose from and the juvenile great spotted woodpecker won.

Upcoming Blipmeet:
I've been organising a Cumbrian Blipmeet. I'm lucky that there are a few blipping couples we have meals with but it's a long time (pre-Covid) since we've been on an anybody-come-along-if-you-can sort of blipmeet.

So, it's near Cockermouth on Thursday, 10th July, to celebrate Tryfan46 moving to the Lake District. Details are on Community Page.
