Surfinia
Just a quick blip today.
Had a houseful of visitors this afternoon. First Kirsty called for a cuppa and a chat and with some rock she had brought us from Scarborough. It was funny because she wanted a new phone hers was overheating, and she couldn't get the one she wanted from any of the local stores, so suddenly she thought seeing as I am going to Scarborough for the day I will see if there is one at a currys either there or Whitby, and lo and behold there was at Scarborough so she ordered the one she wanted and collected it on her way through.
Then I had just made us a cuppa when Mark and the girls arrived, so it was big chat afternoon, Grace said "have you finished the jigsaw" and was surprised when I said no I waited for you, so her and Autumn got it out from under the settee and spent all the time doing it. With a little help from me and Mark.
Incidentally Kirsty is my eldest sons daughter and my eldest grandchild, she is in her late 30's whereas Grace and Autumn are 14 and 11 a big difference, The eldest with the youngest.
So today I haven't got much done, watched a bit of tennis then there was a big clap of thunder and the sky's opened and they had to rush to cover the grass, it was funny to see how quickly they worked in the pouring rain. after tea we watched a film public enemy about John Dillinger. then we had recorded a couple of ELO programmes from Saturday night so we watched one of them. Amazing
Yesterday I did a lot of dead heading and pruning of the rose bushes, they look much happier today.
Times catching up with me now so Good Night from me
