A really nice day...

Slept in and then went for a walk to the bakery. I got there right as they were opening up, the bearclaws were still warm and then headed over to see my mom. She was very happy to see me today and even happier I had a bearclaw for her. She loved it so much she didn't want her regular breakfast today - I did get her to eat the sausage at least for some protein. She complained that she couldn't remember much anymore but appreciated that she still knew me, her daughter and... We watched some television, talked a lot about nothing and... Overall a very good visit.

Afterwards I needed to do some shopping for the week and pick up my new glasses. Diabetes is taking its toll. Grateful I can now read the laptop screen at its native resolution (1920x1080) again. Also grateful for vision insurance this year - glasses were half the cost of last time. The rest of the evening will be with Tiger, listening to the ball game and watching blips go by...
