Surprise cake for Janine's Aunty

My sister-in-law Sandy had a hip replacement last week and today we visited her to see how she's getting on.

She came home yesterday from the hospital so it's very early days yet.  She was in a lot of pain, understandably. I can't even imagine what a hip replacement entails, but she's done it and is happy with it all.

Once home, I made a little cake for a surprise birthday gathering on the street tomorrow for my neighbour's aunty who is visiting.  

Not a complicated cake, but hopefully she'll like it.
