Letterboxes

I visited K late afternoon after he had day surgery up the road for a hernia. There turned out to be two ‘defects’, as the surgeon put it, so he has two new pieces of mesh under a rather fetching ‘binder’. They’re keeping him in overnight so his favourite dinner will be tomorrow.

People were getting home from work when I got back. I can relate to this woman’s problem finding her keys.
