Presale Rieu 2026

The upcoming days Andre Rieu will once again be a main subject in my daily life.
Next Friday we’ll be going to Limburg again and Saturday evening we will be on the Vrijthof again.
But, to my surprise the 2026 Vrijthof concerts were already announced. The presale started today at noon.
Normally the sale starts somewhere in October.
With no time to consult all the others, I decided not to risk anything and by 12:05 the tickets for 2026 were secured, including the complete hotelarrangement. Perfect!!
I’ll inform the rest about it when we’re in Maastricht.

The other main subject of today was me going for another CT scan in the hospital this morning.
I was injected with a contrast fluid and then went into the tunnel. The whole event took about 10 minutes.
All this recent research does take some of the Rieu-fun and the general gloss of life away. Not knowing if and/or what might be wrong is getting between the ears, even despite the fact I’m trying to put all negative thoughts aside and keep on going.
The results of the scan will come in a week when I have another appointment in the hospital.
