MONO MONDAY - HEAVY METAL

I looked at the theme for today and saw it was metal, but that was AFTER I had taken this shot of our fantastic bin men aka Recycling Operatives, collecting our recycling.

So here is my contribution for Mono Monday - and I have entitled it “Heavy Metal”!  

Our car has gone in for a service and M.O.T. today, so I’m going to clean the kitchen - it’s too hot to go out in the garden now, but as you will probably guess, Mr. HCB has been out there for a while pottering around.  He has just brought in our first courgette and some mange tout peas, so I’m thinking a stirfry for our meal this evening.  He also brought some rhubarb, so that needs to be dealt with too - stewed with some strawberries, I think - for dessert.
