This is rather nice, isn’t it? Gives me some ideas for decorating the wendy house. So far I’d not thought much beyond old postcards and blu-tack. Yes, we were having a stroll round the Botanics and the Queen Mum’s Cottage was open – it’s closed during the week as the Palm Houses are being renovated. Thanks to all you taxpayers elsewhere in Scotland for keeping our local attractions up to spec. Very generous.
And there was an exhibition in Inverleith House. Linder. An iconic feminist artist dives seamlessly through highlights of the last 50 years, as Linder: Danger Came Smiling. Well, she did a Buzzcocks album cover which according to the blurb is now “celebrated.” After that I scooted round to Morrisons and got myself a bottle of gin amongst other things. If I’ve nothing else to celebrate I can celebrate Linder.
